Yo-Qi is a beautiful blend of yoga postures and kung fu forms. Why blend these two ancient traditions? Because while yoga brings you greater flexibility and increases your core and upper body strength, kung fu increases your core and lower body strength. Although opposite in some ways, one of the shared priciples of yoga and kung fu is the awareness of breath. The practice of using the breath to keep the body and mind both strong and relaxed at the same time can deeply influence your daily life. This practice can bring greater health, peace of mind, and enjoyment in each new day. In all that you do... be flexible. be strong. be balanced.
