Tropics

Tropics 60 is our signature class, designed for all levels of students. The series is designed as a therapeutic class that addresses the entire body, head to toe, inside and out. The series draws from Bikram, Ashtanga, and Power yoga styles to give students an energizing and cleansing flow.

Practiced in the heat at 105*, this 60 minute class uses approximately 30 postures including vinyasas, balancing, strengthening, cobra, stretching and recovery postures. Tropics 1 is offered 7 days a week, 6 times a day.

Classes listed as Sunrise and Sunset are the same as the Tropics classes, usually practiced with dimmed lights and less teaching dialogue.

Tropics 90

This class follows the same format as the Tropics 60 class, but is extended to allow for two sets of most of the postures and additional or alternative postures. The class is also slower paced allowing for deeper holds.

Our 90 min Tropics class is an excellent way to deepen your practice or to increase your endurance. It is also a nice alternative to those who feel rushed by a 60 min class or for those who enjoy the Tropics flow but would like to learn other variations and new poses.

Tropics 2

Tropics 2 is a continuation of the Tropics class. Different variations of postures are explored in this challenging but fun flow. Learn some arm balancing techniques and play with alternative poses. It is recommended that you have a foundation with Tropics 1, but not necessary.

X-Treme

For the heat junkie. Tropics X-Treme follows the same format and flow as regular Tropics, but adds in variations. X-treme is also our hottest class, practiced at temperatures between 105* and 110*, so be ready to sweat!

Budokon with Sensei Cisco

The literal translation of Budokon is "the way of the spiritual warrior." Budokon is a fusion of Power Yoga, Martial Arts and Meditation in one complete system. This system develops strength of the body, of the mind, and serenity of the spirit.

The Budokon physical practice draws upon ancient and modern yogic and martial arts styles. The foundation of the Budokon physical practice is precision, alignment and Zen mind. All Budokon techniques are designed to explore the body's full range of motion. The practice dances between agility, control, speed, power, balance and flow. The physical practice is divided into two themes: The Yogic Series, and the Budo Series. The objective of this series is to teach agility, power, focus and flow in the body and mind.

Anusara with Bianca Zable

Anusara yoga is a modern school of Hatha yoga grounded in tantric philosophy and instrinsic goodness. The emphasis of Anusara yoga is set on the "universal principals of alignment", heart opening postures, and on the spiritual/ meditative benefits of hatha yoga. Bianca recently completed her Anusara immersion with Michael Fukumura of Encinitas.

YoQi

Yo-Qi is a beautiful blend of yoga postures and kung fu forms. Why blend these two ancient traditions? Because while yoga brings you greater flexibility and increases your core and upper body strength, kung fu increases your core and lower body strength. Although opposite in some ways, one of the shared priciples of yoga and kung fu is the awareness of breath. The practice of using the breath to keep the body and mind both strong and relaxed at the same time can deeply influence your daily life. This practice can bring greater health, peace of mind, and enjoyment in each new day.

In all that you do... be flexible. be strong. be balanced.
