Krista Smith

Krista completed her yoga training through Yoga Tropics in 2014.  Initially drawn to the practice to help in restoring order to her body from years of wear and tear from playing basketball, volleyball, and running, Krista now finds yoga to be an essential gateway in finding tranquility of the mind, in addition to the physical benefits.  During her classes, Krista places a heavy emphasis on performing the postures with proper balance and alignment, as well as on perfect sequencing of the movement with the breath.  Most importantly, the steady pulse of the class allows for her students to “turn off” their minds, and find a deep internal quietness as they flow through the poses.  Her class is an excellent place for beginners. Krista is also certified in Yoga Barre and Yoga Sculpt.
