All Levels. Our signature hot yoga class combines elements of Bikram style hatha with vinyasa flow. The focus of Hot Yoga is to heal and maintain the body by balancing strength and flexibility, leading to a happier, healthier life. Our classes are designed to stimulate each organ, gland, muscle and system of the body through a comprehensive system of practical health-maintenance and disease prevention. A dedicated and consistent practice at Yoga Tropics will reverse the effects of aging, regulate metabolism, reduce the effects of stress and strain, and help reduce chronic pain.

Hot Yoga 45

Hot Yoga 60 condensed to 45 minutes - vinyasa style. The word vinyasa describes “breath synchronized movement”, with every inhalation and exhalation there is a movement of the body. Compared to Tropics hot yoga classes (where there are pauses in between poses), hot yoga vinyasa classes flow all the way through. Different each time depending on what the teacher choreographs, these very fun classes allow you to explore new transitions through poses, new ways to move, and what your body can do!

The Nicoya Peninsula, where this retreat center lies, has been deemed one of the world’s 5 “Blue Zones” - one of the healthiest regions on our beautiful planet. The term “Blue Zone” refers to geographical areas in which people have low rates of chronic disease and live longer than anywhere else. Not to mention, the water is 85 degrees!

We offer Teacher Training intensives and small retreats in our space. It’s also a vacation rental if you’re looking to take your family or friends on a
